Facts

  • The building was just northeast of the Mall of America, the largest enclosed shopping and entertainment complex in the United States.
  • This hotel was demolished in late 2004 because of its location at the end of the new north-south runway at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
  • This is the only high-rise building to have been demolished in Bloomington. It joins Minneapolis, St. Paul, Duluth, and Moorhead as the 5th city in the state to have done so.
