Facts

  • Modeled after the Buhl Building in Detroit, the Citizens Bank Building was representative of Saginaw's position as the center of trade and commerce for the Saginaw Valley.
  • The large, arched windows in the base of the building admit light into the main banking hall. The nine-story tower above holds offices, with arcaded upper stories and a cornice in the romanesque style.
