  • 1253-1331 - Construction of the choir, transcept, and ambulatory with accompanying chapels under the master Gauthier de Varinfroy.
  • The cathedral was pillaged by iconoclastic Protestants in 1562. Much of the furnishings were destroyed and have never been replaced to the previous quality.
  • Overall measurements are 92.5 meters length and 46 meters width.
  • 1180-1220 - Construction of the nave.
  • 1459-1512 - Construction of the north tower, the south tower, the great rose window, the organ balcony, and the lateral chapels along the side aisles.
  • 1335-1390 - Construction of the west facade and adjacent portions of the nave.
