  • Originally planned as a 25-story building. It's not clear why the building was made shorter although some say it was because it would not have fit the skyline at that time. The nearest taller building was the One American Center almost 8 blocks away.
  • The hotel contains 23,210 square feet of meeting space.
  • The hotel has a 165 foot atrium.
  • Austin's largest downtown hotel for years, it is the tallest building in Austin South of the Colorado River.
