  • Commerce Place Venture, a partnership of Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. and Crow, Carter & Associates, were the original owners.
  • Parkway Properties purchased the tower in 2001 for $30 million from Equity Office Properties Trust, which had owned the tower since 1993.
  • Lingerfelt Commonwealth Partners purchased the tower in 2013 for $42.8 million.
  • It was sold to Partners Group in 2016 for $74 million. Lingerfelt continued to operate the property for the new Switzerland-based owners.
  • Wheelock Street Capital purchased the tower in 2019 for $111 million.
  • The building facade is an aggregate made of crushed limestone, sand, and concrete.
  • The architect for this tower is sometimes mistakenly credited to Ai Group. The actual architects were Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates in association with Robinson Neil Bass & Associates.
