  • It was renovated and converted into the Hotel Monaco in 2001.
  • The rear of the building contains eight 42 by 65 lodge rooms with 22-foot ceilings. They are elaborately decorated following Egyptian and Neoclassical themes.
  • Three of these rooms have been transformed into meeting space and a fitness room for hotel guests. The remaining rooms are closed and being preserved to prevent deterioration.
  • The top three floors at the rear also contain an unused theater with 37-foot ceilings.
  • The former Masonic Building was originally designed to incorporate leasable office floors in the front, and lodge rooms and offices in the rear.
