  • The Chamber of Commerce Grain Exchange was at one time the country's largest wheat, barley, rye, and flax market and was second among the twenty-one grain exchanges in the country.
  • The building features some of the most extensive terra-cotta ornamentation in Minneapolis.
  • Along with the other two buildings in the complex, the Main Building of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
