  • The East Building of the Grain Exchange is the only Renaissance Revival Skyscraper in Minneapolis.
  • Along with the other two buildings in the complex, the East Building of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
  • Gladding McBean supplied terra-cotta for facade restoration in the early 1980's.
