Facts

  • Hasenbergturm was a well-known observation tower at Stuttgart. It was built of sandstones from a quarry of Gerlingen. In 1943 it was blown-up by German military office as it offered a navigation aid for Allied bomber pilots. The tower was not totally destroyed, there is still a stump of it.
