Facts

  • This building is constructed of stone, with terra cotta trim, extensive metal ornamentation, and cast vertical lines typical of the period.
  • Because telecom companies make large technology investments in such leased space and require a lower number of people on-site to operate that equipment, the building's lack of on-site parking space is not considered a big problem.
  • This art deco gem has polished brass revolving doors, chandeliers, elevator doors and other ornamentation to welcome visitors along with marble-faced walls and floors.
  • Despite its age, the Bryant Building already has fiber optic capabilities, which makes continued use as an office building possible without unbearable retrofitting costs.
  • A Wisconsin investment firm purchased the building on July 29, 2003 from California-based Pacificia Bryant for $2 million, double the purchase price PB paid in 1995.
