  • The building was home to the second Cleveland Architectural Club formed in 1894.
  • The New England Building was constructed on the site of the last remaining home from Millionaires' Row on Euclid Avenue between Public Square and East 9th Street.
  • Walker & Weeks designed the 1915 renovations for Guardian Savings & Trust including an extension of the existing structure to Vincent Avenue (Short Vincent).
  • Cleveland architects whose offices were in the building in the past: Frank S. Barnum & Co., Fenimore C. Bates, Hubbell & Benes, Charles F. Schweinfurth, and Steffens, Searles, and Hirsch.
  • The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
