Facts

  • The hotel housed the famous Hugo's French restaurant where the late Bruce Lee and the film boss Raymond Chow met for their first film.
  • All guestrooms were sound-proofed with double-glazed windows; individual air conditioning controls.
  • Hyatt Regency Hong Kong was located on Nathan Road in the centre of Hong Kong's shopping and nightlife district. Next to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR subway with easy access to other commercial and shopping districts on both sides of the harbour.
  • The hotel offered 723 guest rooms, including 374 twins, 15 queens, 306 kings and 28 Hollywood twins.
  • The Hyatt Regency was demolished in early 2006 and replaced by the i-Square shopping and entertainment complex in 2009.
