  • The building has no interior columns, which allows for flexible floor plans.
  • The two-story base, its roof originally decorated with checkerboard patterns, was extensively remodeled in 1988.
  • Legendary architect Minoru Yamasaki was part of the building's design team while an associate with architect NBBJ, and was considered a key influence in the use of exterior marble and small grid windows.
