  • There was a smaller Mills Tower built in 1907, designed by Willis Polk, which is considered by historians to have been the city's first skyscraper.
  • This building is an addition to the original Mills building designed by the SF office of Burnham & Root. The building was completed 1892 and survived the 1906 earthquake.
