  • Renovation of the existing structure and addition of twin towers was completed by Ratio Architects, Mansur Group, and F.A. Wilhelm Construction in 1990. At that time the main entrance was moved from the northside (Georgia Street) to the southside (Jackson Place), where it directly faces Union Station.
  • The hotel was named for one of its primary investors, Henry Severin, Jr., the heir to a wholesale grocery fortune.
  • The hotel is directly connected via skywalk to Circle Centre, just across Georgia Street to the north.
  • This is the tallest buildng in the Wholesale District.
