Facts

  • This 17-story addition was built to expand up to 26 floors.
  • A sculpture by Alexander Calder, "The Young Lady and Her Suite," stood on the corner of Michigan and Cass Avenues from 1973 until late 2006 when it was removed for restoration. AT&T donated the restored sculpture to the Detroit Institute of Arts in 2007.
