Facts

  • The Praetorian Building was one of the earliest highrise buildings in Dallas. The building was doubled in size and the original facade replaced during the 1960s. Another renovation took place in the mid-1990s at which time the building was renamed Stone Place Tower.
  • In 2005 3J Development purchased the building with plans to remove the mid-century facade and restore it to its original 1909 condition. The building would have been marketed as loft apartments.
