Facts

  • The developers had planned a mirror image of Madison Plaza across the street to the south. Later the plan for that site switched to the 125-story Miglin-Beitler Skyneedle which also was not built.
  • The façade is silver glass and white granite, while the interior features a bright and airy two-story lobby sheathed in white veneer granite with reflective glass columns.
  • The tower has a sawtooth edge with six corners on the southeast side. Each floor has 9 corner offices, except at the very top where the corners are phased into the sloped roof.
  • The plaza features a black metal sculpture by Louise Nevelson called "Dawn Shadows".
