  • The south wing is built over Congress Parkway and houses the LaSalle Street Station, with trains serving Chicago's south and southwest suburbs.
  • Designed by Lucien Lagrange when he was a partner at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.
  • The top floor is home to the Everest Room restaurant.
  • A landscaped plaza runs along the west side of the building from Van Buren to Congress Street. At the south end, near the west entrance, is a Ludovico di Luigi horse sculpture titled San Marco II standing over a fountain and pool.
  • A twin tower was originally planned to the south, across Congress Parkway.
  • Clad in Imperial Red granite, with Brescia marble used in the lobby.
