Facts

  • A small greenhouse with staggered corners projects from the center of the east side, with space for restaurant seating.
  • The building is built over part of the south train platforms of Union Station.
  • With its curving green glass wall that follows the river, this building's design is an inverted variation on 333 West Wacker.
  • The curved profile of the riverfront façade is repeated on the west side, where a plaza runs the length of the building.
  • A second phase was originally planned over the railroad platforms to the west, to be connected to this building by an atrium garden.
