  • A modern façade was added to the front of the building in the mid-century. It featured punched rectangular windows arranged in diagonal rows.
  • A small moat separated the south wall of the building from the parking lot.
  • The police headquarters has moved to a new building on 35th Street, and this building was demolished to make way for the State Place Tower condominium project.
