  • The 45th floor houses the only revolving restaurant in Mexico.
  • The crown has six levels.
  • The telecommunication system is digital and manages up to 110,000 lines.
  • The tower has its own free infirmary service available at any time for tenants and visitors.
  • The Mexica hall is the largest within the tower at 4,020sq m.
  • There is a 12-screen cinema on the third floor, and a departament store on the first.
  • This building has a 2,300 KVA linked electric sub-station.
  • The facade has a surface area of 41,710sq m, composed of more than 10,000 cladding units.
  • Up to 20 thousand companies use the services of the WTC Ciudad de México.
  • There was no legal dispute between the building owner and the WTO. The building was repossesed by the Mexican government and then auctioned, having the WTO as the winning bidder.
  • It is the WTC building with the most square meters in the world. Title won after the unfortunate events of Sept. 11.
  • In the '80s a new building concept is reframed by the architects to turn the Hotel into a World Trade Center.
  • The building features 231 hydrants, 5,568 smoke detectors, 31,243 sprinklers and 732 fire extinguishers.
  • Construction was halted for more than 10 years because of a legal dispute between the building's original owner and the World Trade Corporation. (It was originally proposed to be an hotel).
  • 2.5 million people visit the International Exposition and Convention Center in more of 80 exhibitions every year.
  • Although it was originally built to be a Hotel, it was later sold to the WTC organization. It was the most famous hotel in Mexico City for over 10 years before it was sold.
