  • The Sir Charles Tupper Building houses Dalhousie University's faculty of medical science, research laboratories, and the W.K. Kellogg Health Sciences Library . It is located on the university's Carleton campus.
  • It is named after Dr. Charles Tupper, Nova Scotia Premier, Father of Confederation and Canada's only physician to become Prime Minister. He was a leading figure in the formation of Dalhousie Medical School.
  • Built in 1967 as Nova Scotia's Confederation Centennial Project, it was Halifax's tallest building at the time.
