  • Once an Indian reservation, the building site was used as a RCAF equipment depot during WWII, closing in 1956.
  • Developer and future mayor of Vancouver Tom Campbell obtained special rezoning for the Y-shaped tower, which was painted in glossy olive green and black.
  • The exterior is finished with aluminum mullioned glazing above green, insulated spandrels.
