  • There is a large shopping centre at the base.
  • 1969: named Denman Place Inn.
  • 1978: named Inn at Denman Place.
  • 1984: named Denman Hotel.
  • 1986: named Ramada Renaissance.
  • 1989: named Coast Plaza at Stanley Park.
  • In 2008 the building will be converted from hotel usage to condominiums, as it was when it originally opened nearly 40 years earlier.
  • Originally proposed as an apartment complex of 48 storeys in 1966, which would have made it one of the highest apartment residences in the British Empire.
  • One of the first projects in Western Canada to incorporate retail, office, hotel, residential, entertainment and recreational facilities into one complex.
  • The 35th floor "view" restaurant is on the 32nd floor
