  • A surface parking lot as of 2001, this site will be redeveloped at the same time as the block directly to the south into a new Minneapolis Central Public Library, designed by Cesar Pelli.
  • The Minneapolis Community Development Agency is soliciting bids during 2003 to redevelop this site. The MCDA is requiring that the proposal incorporate residential and retail uses with a large bus hub for Metro Transit. Up to 617,520 square feet of space can be developed on the site.
  • It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993, two years after demolition.
