Facts

  • The project is one of many competing proposals for a vacant, 61-acre site owned by the city of Las Vegas just north of the Clark County Government Center along the Union Pacific railroad tracks.
  • Wind turbines placed at the top of the structure, along with photoelectric cells upon the exterior, would provide electricity for the entire building.
  • Construction was originally reported by the Los Angeles Times on April 6, 2001.
  • At the middle of the building on the 100th floor would be a "sky park" containing trees and an observation deck.
