Facts

  • The name is a transposition of Millennium Park, a large section of Grant Park built at the same time as the tower, two blocks south over former railroad land.
  • Park Millennium is the tallest out of 14 high-rises completed in Chicago in 2002.
  • This is one of three residential skyscrapers in Chicago named after the new millennium. See also Millennium Centre and The Heritage at Millennium Park.
  • Park Millennium is the most recent addition to Illinois Center, a project with a triple-decker street system. The height of the structure is measured from the upper level of Columbus Drive.
  • If the building's height were measured from the lowest basement, it would be 1/2 inch shy of 600 feet.
