Facts

  • Each office floor will be accessed through reception atriums and sky-bridges offering attractive views of the city.
  • The main entrance, originally planned in the shape of a reversed bevel, but redisigned in cubical form will lead to the three story high lobby.
  • The ground floor will be ringed with cafes and retail services, and will link the skyscraper to the adjacent Rondo 1-A by a 14-meter high winter garden.
  • The northern elevation of the tower is rounded on both sides, providing a distinct decorative element.
  • The tower will combine the requirements of today's contemporary office spaces with its role to become one of the most spectacular landmark in Warsaw's central business district.
  • The tower's elevations are designed to maximize daylight penetration to the offices, one of the key considerations in modern office planning.
  • Plans include direct interior access to a future line of Warsaw's subway.
  • On February 2004, with construction just beginning, Ernst & Young decided to lease 20% of the building's office space in Polish real estate's largest leasing transaction of 2004. The company will leave its present offices in Warsaw Financial Center and partly vacate those in Warsaw Towers.
  • A slight redesign occurred in September 2004 while still under construction. Changes included modification of the entrance and movement of the spire from the west to the east side.
  • Despite the original usage plans of the tower called for a purely office building, a residential floor is being considered.
  • W projekcie Rondo 1-B szyby wind zostały usytuowane w trzech zewnętrznych wieżach poza obrysem budynku, co pozwoli na swobodniejszą aranżację przestrzeni biurowych. Podobne rozwiązanie zastosowano w projekcie Deutsche Bank Place w Sydney.
