tapered roof (ESN 51605 )

A tapered roof is a pointed roof which gives the appearance of a cone. It can rise from any shape of base, but the roof itself must have more than four sides so as not to appear pyramidal, or else it must be curved in plan. A tapered roof can have a small cupola or ornament at its peak, or be decorated around the edges by finials or other ornaments.

A sharply pointed roof with a round plan or more than four sides.
