A multigabled roof is any roof which has ridgelines in different directions, thereby creating more than two gables in the facade. The simplest form of this type is a roof with 2 intersecting ridgelines and one gable on each face of a rectangular plan. Also included in this type are roofs with multiple intersecting ridgelines or gabled dormers embedded in the primary roof slope.
