Scotland

The country of Scotland occupies the northern part of the British Isles, and is the second largest constituent country of the United Kingdom, with 9% of the population and 33% (78,769sq km) of the land area. The population is largely focused in an industrialised belt running east to west across the country, taking in the two largest and most important cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
