Northern Ireland

The province of Northern Ireland is the smallest constituent part of the United Kingdom, representing just 3% of the total population. Situated in the NE corner of Ireland, the province has long been an issue of contention between Ireland and the United Kingdom, and contains only one large city; the economic and cultural centre of Belfast.
