Elm Street
Running right through the heart of downtown Dallas, Elm Street passes by the city's three tallest buildings. The street is better known however as the site of President John F. On the westernmost block of Elm Street between Houston Street and the Union Pacific railroad bridge, the President's car was heading west when the assassin's bullets struck, allegedly from the
Dallas County Administration Building. The famous Grassy Knoll overlooking this historic site is on the north side of the street where it descends under the railroad viaduct.
