News: New tallest proposed for Duisburg, Germany
Duisburg:
Today, the developer Bauteam 2 Plus presented plans for what could become the new tallest building in Duisburg, Germany - the Mercator-Tower.
The german architect Dietmar Hoppe designed the project as a complex consisting of a 35-story tower and a 7-story low-rise building with a mall connecting both. 30,000 square meters (323,000 sq ft) of office space are planned, aswell as underground parking for over 500 cars.
The tower will reach a height of 128m (420ft), if built, making it the tallest office building in Duisburg. The date of completion is 2006. |
