News: New world's tallest temporarily on hold due to earthquake
Taipei:
The Taipei World Financial Center is temporarily on hold after the March 31 earthquake that knocked two construction cranes off the structure. The building, which will be the world's tallest when completed, will resume construction after some minor damage is repaired (pending approval of the government's building safety agency). According to the representative from Taipei World Financial Center, it is estimated that the project will be on hold for about five months. |
