Only a few places in Germany have buildings of any notable height, mainly because the inner city districts are often protected by strict zoning codes. And most larger cities do not allow construction of new skyscrapers. But the city of Frankfurt am Main is an exception; it is home to eight of the ten tallest german skyscrapers, with several more tall buildings being developed.
