- A large urban renewal project east of downtown Minneapolis near the University of Minnesota's West Bank Campus, Cedar-Riverside Plaza was originally conceived as a mixed-income community of fourteen high-rise towers, nine of which were never built.
- Riverside Plaza occupies the entire superblock bounded by Cedar Avenue and 15th Avenue South, from 4th to 6th Streets.
- The architects were recognized with an Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects in 1975.
- In 2004 this complex was given the 25-year Award by the Minnesota chapter of the AIA.
