Facts
- It is the first building in the world to feature power-generating wind turbines suspended between two commercial towers.
- Solar-powered external lighting, low-energy fluorescent lighting and thermal insulation for opaque fabric elements are further aspects designed to increase energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions associated with the towers.
- The towers can generate up to 15 percent of the energy required by means of the three propellers between the buildings. Sea breezes are channeled by the towers onto the propellers.
