Meridian Township

Meridian Township is a charter township located directly east of East Lansing. It primarily serves as a bedroom community for the cities of Lansing and East Lansing, and is the wealthiest community in the area. It is also home to the largest shopping mall in the Lansing-East Lansing Metropolitan Area, and includes the unincorporated cities and Census Designated Places of Okemos which occupies the southern half of the township, and Haslett which occupies the northern half of the township.
