The city of Santiago de Cali is the capital of Valle del Cauca department, and is the third most populated in Colombia. Cali is one of the main economic and industrial centers of the country and the main urban, economic, industrial and agrarian center of the Colombian Southwest. The city of Cali is one of the older cities of European foundation of the American continent (1536).
