Facts

  • Originally built for the Coca Cola Company, the structure served as the home office for Western Auto from 1915 until 1998 when Advance Auto Parts purchased Western Auto and closed the facility.
  • The 58 foot tall Western Auto sign atop the building was completely restored and relighted with its famous circling white arrow during a ceremony the evening of April 10, 2003.
  • When 75 percent of the 12-story tower sold out during the first three months of availability, the developer purchased two nearby structures to expand the concept.
  • The building was placed onto the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
