  • Designed in the Renaissance Revival style, the New York Life Insurance Company Building was Omaha's first ten-story structure.
  • It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
  • McKim, Mead and White designed an identical office tower for New York Life in Kansas City, Missouri.
  • The eleventh floor was added in 1920.
