Facts

  • Originally a luxury hotel that hosted the rich and famous, it is now an apartment building.
  • Widely regarded as Phoenix's first skyscraper, with 13 floors, Westward Ho supports a large communications antenna.
  • The building can be seen in the opening of the 1998 remake of Alfred Hitchcock movie thriller "Psycho".
  • Started in 2003, the building was remodeled at a cost of over 8 million dollars to create a total of 289 apartments on completion in 2004.
