During the summer of 2003, the heating system's cooling towers were changed. This required a 150 m tall crane, capable of lifting a minimum 2,500 kg.
The works were done in three phases: dismantling the old cooling towers, preparing the site and erecting the new cooling towers. The works lasted one-and-a-half months; dismantling and erecting of the cooling towers was performed at weekends.
In 2005 Belgian bank Fortis sold and leased back this building. This transaction is estimated at 67 million euros.
