Facts
- The base is octagonal, but tapers to the top with a square finish, with square blocks nested 45 degrees to one another forming the upper part of the tower.
- United Overseas Bank Plaza One is one of three 280 metres tall buildings in Singapore. 280 metres is the maximum height permitted by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
- This tower was built by the United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB), as an expansion to its existing 30-storey tower, UOB Plaza Two, and connected by a podium as a single intergrated development.
- A two-level skylobby can be found on the 37th and 38th floors, providing paranomic views of the city.
