- The original 10-storey, vertical sign was replaced in the 1950s with the marquee that remains today.
- The Downtown Detroit United Artists Theater sat 2,070 people.
- By 1975, the theater was sold off and rarely used, and by 1984 the office building was shuttered.
- In preparation for the 2006 NFL Super Bowl, graffiti was removed from all the windows of the building, and the lower levels received a coat of black paint to hide the graffiti work at the base of this building.
