• At the top, on the 19th floor, there is an indoor/outdoor plaza with a pond and unobstructed views of the city.
• A typical floor is about 17,000 square feet.
• The Plaza was the first high-rise by the Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership, and the first to use prefabricated brick panels in its construction.
• In 1998, Spieker Properties purchased the property from Nichiei America Corp. for US $50 million.
• In 2001, Equity Office Properties Trust became the owner of the building after it merged with Spieker Properties, Inc.
• Nichiei America Corporation purchased the building for US $34 million in 1990.
• In 1997, the building received "The Office Building of the Year" award from the Building Owners and Managers Association of Portland.
