Sibley Tower Building, Sibley's Department Store
Structure in General
- Early modern design in the spirit of the Chicago School is demonstrated by the horizontal treatment of the windows set into a deeply expressed structural frame.
- Restrained classical elements are also seen at the cornice and in the tower atop the lower wing.
- Originally built in 1911, six stories were added in 1926.
