Facts
- If built it would become Lebanon's tallest tower.
- The tower requires 14-meter protective substructures as Central Beirut is a seismic zone.
- The design is a double exterior, with an external surface created using a series of perforated aluminium shutters -- a signature design by Nouvel said to echo the arab mashrabiya latticework.
- The initial scheme did not include the tower, which is planned in a zone where building heights are not supposed to exceed 70 meters.
